Creative Steps - The Process of Editing - SOLD OUT SATURDAY & SUNDAY

Skill level: Beginner to intermediate
An in-depth overview of photo enhancement and editing. Students will be guided through photo enhancement techniques available in Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, these include tips and tricks from Sara Pearcy (Scrapbooking Memories Photo Tech Writer). Have you looked at a photo and wondered 'how can I get my photo to look like that', what are Actions, what are textures, how do they work - then this is the workshop for you.

Photography Basics - How to Use Your Camera & Take Better Photos with Andrea Thompson and Sara Pearcy
Skill level: Beginner to intermediate
Bring your camera (and your camera manual) along to learn valuable photography tips. Covering photography basics, including technical terminology, lighting and camera settings, we will help you to take better photographs! The class begins as an information session and ends with a hands-on, indoor shoot session. For the practical session, students are welcome to bring an object to photograph. For example: a stuffed toy, tea pot, jewellery box - anything with which to practice indoor photography.

Session 3

2.30pm - 4.30pm

DigiScraps 101 with Sara Pearcy and Melissa Mielekamp
Skill level: Intermediate (must be comfortable using photo editing software)
A hands-on class where you will create a unique digital layout using various Photoshop techniques, using beautiful digital scrapbooking elements widely available. Class fee includes a printed copy of each complete layout which will be emailed to each participant after the event, as well as a sample disc of all digital pieces and elements used in the class. Each participant will have use of an individual laptop and Wacom Bamboo Fun graphics tablet.

Up to 5 photos on a disc. No thumb drive or USB drive permitted.
