About our Tutors

 

 

Ngaire Bartlam

Having been a scrapper for 10 years, Ngaire has written two books, Lumpy Bumpy and It's All About You. She regularly creates for Blueyedezigns, Fiskars and Tarisota Collections and is the top ten sub-editor for Scrapbook Creations magazine. Ngaire is a freelance artist and instructor.

Ngaire's style is eclectic and she loves using lots of texture and embellishment.

 

 

 

Jill Geraghty-Groves

Jill is currently on the design team for American Crafts, Tarisota Collections and is a Fiskars Ambassador. She is a Prima Verified tutor (officially PrimaDonna). Jill has been published in all of the Australian scrapbooking magazines, card magazines, as well as a couple of US and UK publications.

 

 

 


 

Teneale Williams

Teneale is a fulltime papercraft tutor, teaching in scrapbook stores, craft fairs and at her home studio. Her work has been published in For Keeps Creative Paper, Scrapbooking Memories and Stamping and Papercraft. In 2008 Teneale was also the first Australian to be 'Featured Stamper' on splitcoaststampers.com

 

 

 

Jill Geraghty-Groves

Jill is currently on the design team for American Crafts, Tarisota Collections and is a Fiskars Ambassador. She is a Prima Verified tutor (officially PrimaDonna). Nicole Farrell

With a keen interest in craft since an early age, Nicole quickly adopted the name 'Craft Queen'. Her travels have led her to unique craft items, which prompted the start of her business two years ago. Her work has been published in For Keeps and Australian Paper Crafts Magazine.

 

 

 


 

 

Sue Bowers

Sue is the co-director of Pipe Dreamink and co-author of the book, Opulent Opals and the new Look Book.

   

 

 

Niamh Henshaw

Niamh is the co-director of Pipe Dreamink and co-author of the book, Opulent Opals. Her artwork has been published in many national and international magazines, such as For Keeps and Somerset Studio.

Niamh enjoys experimenting, blending and transforming both traditional and unexpected items into meaningful pieces of self expression. She travels across the USA, UK and New Zealand teaching workshops.

 

     

 

Mylene Hillam

Mylene is a mixed media artist, project designer and teacher whose work is regularly featured in Australian and US paper crafting magazines. She is a design team member for Krafty Lady art moulds. Mylene's work is distinguished by her clean style and love of colour and her classes always offer interesting and challenging techniques.

 

NEWS! Congratulations to Mylene! Mylene is a winner in the recent competition held by Amaco, an Indiana based USA company, to create works made of Friendly Plastic Modeling Sticks. Mylene won two out of six of the categories: Best Jewellery Design Set and Best Butterfly. Mylene's jewellery entry used a bead rolling technique to create each of the hand made beads. The set consists of a choker with a Friendly Plastic focal pendant and a memory wire bracelet featuring a Friendly Plastic focal bead, wtih seed beads, curved metal tubes and wire work. This was an international competition with entries coming from around the globe. The winners were announced in the USA at a craft expo on 26th January, 2009.

    

 

 


 

 

Rachel Richter

Rachel is based on Brisbane's Southside and has been photographing children and families for many years. With her love of photography she soon found her way into scrapbooking, both traditional and digital. Rachel's specialty is working with Adobe's Photoshop Elements.

 

  

 

Cassandra Glass

Cassandra has been scrapping for about 4 years. She is regularly published and has written articles for Scrapbooking Memories, as well as receiving two honourable mentions in Scrapbooking Memories Masters. She currently works on Kaisercraft's design team.

 

     

 

 

 

Jane Clark

Jane is the Technical Editor of Australia's leading cardmaking magazine, Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft. With over 10 years experience in the industry, her product knowledge and teaching expertise is highly respected. Specialising in stamping and techniques, Jane loves to teach classes and share ideas. She write regular articles for Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft including 'The Classroom' - an indispensable feature for cardmakers of all levels.

 

 


 

Zoe Pearn

Predominantly a digital scrapper but still loving to pick up the scissors, Zoe was offered a position at Sweet Shoppe Designs in 2006 and hasn't looked back since. She works as an artist for My Mind's Eye Inc, and she was approached by them in November 2007 to turn her collaborative kit with good friend Christy Lyle, then called Bubblicious, into the paper line that is now known as Just Dreamy. In the last 18 months Zoe has produced five of her own traditional paper lines as well as the two Just Dreamy collaborations, with the latest CHA 2009 release Bloom and Grow.

 

     


 

 

Sara Pearcy

Sara's love of photography has been life long and has led to an interest in scrapbooking and more recently digital scrapbooking. Sara's work has featured in many Australian scrapbooking magazines. Her classes concentrate on photo manipulation and enhancement.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Andrea Thompson

Andrea is a photographer and has been in the scrapbooking world for eight years. She is a Scrapbooking Memories Master, has taught at expos and conventions, is published in many magazines and has a DVD. Andrea brings a fresh funky style to her work and teaching, and really enjoys sharing her knowledge with others.

 

 

 

 


 

 

 

Melissa Kennedy

Melissa, a 2008 Scrapbooking Memories Master found her way into craft through Creative Memories. Today, she works at Kaisercraft as their Creative Director and a member of their Design Team. Melissa is a scrapbooking teacher at her local scrapbook shop in Geelong, teaches monthly classes at the Kaisercraft Outlet and runs Crop for a Cause workshops every two months. Melissa has been regularly published in several Australian scrapbooking magazines.

 

  

 

 

Alison Wood

Alison was introduced to scrapbooking through Creative Memories and works at Kaisercraft as their marketing manager. Alison has been published in several scrapbooking magazines including Scrapbooking MemoriesScrapbook Creations and Scrap N Art Ezine.

 

   

 

Lu Benson

Lu has been scrapbooking for five years - starting just before the birth of her last child. Lu has been published in several Australian scrapbooking magazines and is a member of Kaisercraft's design team and is a design team member for Wicked Princess online kits.

 

 


 

 

Noralee Peterson (USA)

It wasn't long after attending a crop that Noralee was teaching classes at local stores and invited to teach at consumer conventions on behalf of Provo Craft. Noralee has been with the company for over 7 years now working as a designer and instructor. She is lead designer for their Cricut program and loves the daily opportunity to be creative.

 

 

Lynette Carroll (USA)

Lynette Carroll (Boston, USA) a former scrapbook store owner, has taught at trade shows and consumer conventions throughout the USA and in Japan. Lynette’s work has featured in PaperCrafts, PaperWorks, Cards and PaperTrends magazines. Being one of the original design team for K & Company, she has created a large number of layouts, cards and altered projects.  She is also a design team member for Delish Designs.

 

 

 

Jodi Holbrook (USA)

Jodi's passion for travel and organisation skills are a perfect blend for her event manager role at Making Memories. Jodi grew up in Layton, Utah and graduated from Weber State University in Communications.
