Five Quick Cards with Jane Clark
Skill level: Basic stamp skills
In this workshop you will make five quick and stunning cards with soft, striking effects and backgrounds. Jane will also be teaching techniques on how to get the most out of your stamps by using the second generation of ink and sharing many handy tips and tricks. Products used in this workshop: Distress It ink pad, a gorgeous Kaszazz Spring Time stamp set that consists of nine stamps, a 12 x 12” sheet of definitions and other small embellishments. Photographer Sara Pearcy will cover a little bit of everything in this class. She’ll give you her tips on getting the most out of your camera and let you in on some secrets to make your photos look even better. Class includes handy tips and techniques. You will create a layout on a solid chipboard background, perfect for display in your album or on your art room wall. Participants will be learning to layer, painting with muslin, inking and lots more. Smile, Live Life with Petrina McDonald

Ribbon doesn’t always have to follow a straight line. Experiment with your papers, stamps and ribbons to create unique embellishments and page elements. The class will show you how to make two layouts, both will suit any subject as long as it’s bright, bold and full of energy. You will also receive instructions and supplies to take home and create at least six cards. Class includes Fancy Pants paper, Craft Queen ribbon, buttons, embellishments and use of Autumn Leaves’ stamps. Students bring your Expo Tool Kit, narrow double sided tape, a needle, black or brown ink pad, a selection of photographs preferably 5 x 7” however any photograph can be adapted to suit. In this class you will be combining gorgeous papers with ribbons, lace and stamps to create three unique layouts. One of these would suit a girly photo and the other photos can be any theme. There will be supplies and instructions to create at least three cards with your left over products. You will also learn tips on what to look for when purchasing patterned papers and how to use them to their full potential. Class includes patterned papers by Cosmo Cricket and Teresa Collins, ribbons, lace and embellishments from Craft Queen and the use of stamps from Autumn Leaves and Teresa Collins.
